Is there an age limit?
Oregon requires that all dogs be at least 4 months old. We prefer to have dogs be at least 6 months old, however, we know that everyone matures differently and we are happy to set up a Greet and Treat for your puppy to see if they would be a good fit for Daycare or Boarding. All dogs, regardless of age, must have all vaccinations prior to coming to daycare or staying over night with us.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
In order to maintain a safe and healthy environment, we require that all dogs have up-to-date vaccinations for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. We also ask to have current veterinary and emergency contact information on file.
All dogs must be treated with an effective form of flea control.
Will you give my dog her medication?
We would be happy to administer most non-injection medication for your friend. You must provide clearly written instructions and dosage for all medication.
We reserve the right to decline boarding or daycare privileges based on the medical needs of each guest. Please call in advance to ensure that we can properly care for your dog.
Does my dog need a collar or harness?
Yes, we require that all dogs who are playing with the group wear a collar or harness. If your dog has a fancy or specialized collar, please let one of our staff members know – your dog can borrow one of our community collars for the day.
My dog has trouble interacting with other dogs, can he still come in for daycare or boarding?
We want all our guests to be comfortable and happy. All dogs must participate in an evaluation prior to boarding or coming in for daycare. If your dog does not get along well with others, we may be able to keep him separate from the pack. We have small play areas for when dogs need quiet time, but please call ahead to confirm. An extra charge may be applied to daycare guests who need their own room.
What do I need to bring for my dogs when they stay overnight?
Please bring food for your pet, especially if they have a special diet or prefer a certain brand. We have house available for an additional charge.
You can bring whatever you think your four-legged friend will need for their stay. If your dog has special toys or a bed, please feel free to bring those in. We like to remind our guests that some dogs can get nervous when staying away from home and may chew on their bedding and bowls – keep this in mind when choosing what to bring for their stay.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you cancel your reservation at least 7 days in advance.
We ask that all reservations for boarding on holidays be held with a credit card. If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days prior to your scheduled check-in, one night’s boarding fee may be charged.
No shows are charged the full amount of the reservation during major holidays.
Will you take my dog in heat?
We would be happy to take your companion while she is in heat. However, due to limited space, please call ahead. Female dogs in heat who come in for daycare will be charged as overnight boarding for privacy and additional clean-up.
What if I am late picking up my dog?
All boarding prices are based on a 24 hour period. If your canine friend stays longer than 24 hours, a half day daycare fee may be applied. Please schedule a check out time with our staff.
If you arrive after hours to pick up your dog, please call our emergency line and we may be able let you into the facility to pick up your dog. One night’s boarding fee, in addition to your original daycare fee, will be charged for any dogs picked up from daycare or boarding after hours.
Emergency Contact: (503) 490-1537 or (971) 344-8580
What if I am working early or late?
On occasion, we can schedule an early drop off or late pick up for your dog. There is an additional fee of $15 for picking up or dropping off your dog outside normal business hours. This MUST be scheduled in advance.
Do you accept walk-ins?
We do not accept walk-ins. To get to know you and your dog better, we ask that you schedule a Greet and Treat prior to your first day of daycare. This allows us to focus on your dog and really understand their personality and individual needs. We can also ensure that all dogs are safe and secure while giving you a tour of the daycare.
We recommend that reservations be made in advance for boarding during holidays.
Why is the door locked?
We keep the front door locked at all times in order to ensure the safety of all our guests. Please ring the bell and we will let you in to play.
What do I do if my dog has a half-day daycare package, but we stay longer than 5 hours?
We would use a half-day of daycare from your package and you would just need to pay the difference in price when picking up your dog.
How does Saturday daycare work? Does my dog still get to play all day?
Saturday is the only day with specific drop-off and pick-up hours – you can drop your dog off for daycare between 8am and 11am and you can pick up your dog between 3pm and 6pm. We do not allow drop-offs or pick-ups from 11am – 3pm, however, the dogs still enjoy a full day of running after balls and sniffing around the play area.
